THE VEDA PATASALA AND SPONSORS
The Trust provides for the complete tuition and boarding expenses of all the students at the Patasala, involving an annual expense of nearly Rs. 50 Lakhs. These expenses are primarily met by the interest earnings of the Trust from the Corpus created and contributed by Sri. S.N. Vardarajan and his Indsil group of Companies, to which the Trust is eternally obliged. Also the Trust receives grants from Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan, Govt of India, Ministry of HRD and Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati (sponsored by Tirumala Tirupati, Devastanams, Tirupati).
The founder Chairman of the Trust, Sri C.G.Venkataramanan, a well known philanthropist, who is also the founder Chairman of Tamil Nadu Brahmins Association and Dharmadhikari of Sri Sringeri Shankar Mutt, Coimbatore, attained eternal abode in May 2017.
The Author and the present Chairman of the Trust is Sri. S.N. Varadarajan and the Managing Trustee of the Trust is Sri. B. Vijay Anand.
